Our journey began in 1989 with Calcutta Springs Limited and a commitment to supporting India’s railway infrastructure. Over more than three decades, that foundation has grown into Cal Group—a multi-location engineering organisation built through long-term customer relationships, specialised facilities and the ability to take on increasingly complex requirements.

Cal Group has grown through focused expansion rather than a single moment of scale. Each new location, technical collaboration and area of operation has been developed around an identified customer or infrastructure requirement.

1989

Calcutta Springs Limited established with a focus on railway infrastructure.

SPECIALISED GROWTH

Operations expanded across distinct areas of trackwork, castings, rail fabrication and precast infrastructure.

MULTI-STATE PRESENCE

New facilities extended the group’s presence beyond West Bengal into Odisha and Chhattisgarh.

INTERNATIONAL COLLABORATION

Relationships with specialist technology and engineering partners brought broader knowledge and globally established practices into the organisation.

THE NEXT CHAPTER
